Good Vs Great Products

A good product can solve a problem the user already knows they need a solution to, whereas great products take a step further, to anticipate the problems the user may otherwise have encountered to help solve them in the first place. Moreover, great products have the capabilities to exceed the user’s expectations and they make the user’s life better than good products.

What personally attracts you to product design?

I think product design is the perfect balance between complex problem solving and creativity. It solves real problems for people and has the capacity to have a huge impact on the world and change it for the better.

Also, I enjoy the entire process from research to the final product. It’s amazing to me how ideas can be transformed into tangible things that a user can see, use and benefit from.

The fact that product design can assist people while also providing opportunities to be creative and curates joy in the process - is just like icing on the cake.

What is a digital product that you can’t live without? What problems does it solve for you?

Well! It has to be Spotify for me. I am a huge music fan yet I haven’t learned any instrument yet.

The thing with Spotify is that you can listen to songs for free. More important for me is I can discover lots of new genres, songs and playlists.

The interface is slick, subtle and very easy to use.

Innovative Product

Surely! For me, it is Tesla’s range of electric cars. It’s a complete game-changer in the automotive industry. Not only did it disrupt the automotive industry but Oil & Gas industry as well and also became a huge contributor to helping the Climate change problem to a great extent.
